Winchester Total Recoil™

Winner – IAAPA Best VR Product Award

When Winchester was looking for a partner to create the world’s most advanced and accurate shooting simulator, they looked to Virtuality, the world leader in VR entertainment. The result- Total Recoil, a knock out, award winning VR shooting system that’ll keep your customers coming back for more.

Total Recoil’s strength is its simplicity. All players have to do is select a game, step into the fiery red machine, put on the high resolution headset, pick up the gun and fire away! Now they are surrounded by a 360 degree world of stunning 3D graphics and sound. The shooting experience is so real it even has recoil!

Virtuality engineers worked with Winchester and firearm specialists to create a replica of the classic Model 101 over/under shotgun that uses CO2 powered mechanism to deliver the satisfying kick shooters expect.

Sporting gun magazine called it “serious fun and highly addictive” and went on to say “no shooting game yet devised comes anywhere near matching the real thing. Until now.”

Reactions and skills are tested to the fullest. Every facet of target shooting is captured with exacting detail. To ensure complete accuracy, every move is precisely monitored – 120 times a second. In Trap Master, the simulation is so realistic, shooters even have to take into account the wind direction with a quick look at the flags.

The game “actually give the sport we all know and love a very close run for the money.” – Sporting Gun Magazine

Total Recoiltm has a recommended 9′ diameter field of play area. An optional safety barrier accessory is available.

Kawasaki–Motorcycle Simulator™

Following a recent change in Japanese law, Kawasaki, in conjunction with Virtuality, has developed a motorcycle simulator that allows student drivers to experience dangerous scenarios without the threat of actually crashing a real bike. The only way that the system could allow riders to turn their heads and continue to receive real time images was by using a high performance headset. Reliability, wide field of view, high resolution and highly competitive pricing ensured that the Visette® Pro is the chosen peripheral. Trainee riders have to complete training and testing on a simulator prior to gaining experience on the open road. Kawasaki have been using the Virtuality system and Visette2 HMD for this arduous daily task, with thousands of riders trained and faultless operation.
